With only 200 undergrads, and many of them older than the average college student, Burlington College is definitely not for a typical 18 year old high school grad. Students here tend to know what they want, and what they want is very small classes, a major in either the creative arts (especially film), or the social sciences (especially trans-personal psychology). There is just one academic building, no dining facility, and less than 20 students live in college housing. The building is right on Lake Champlain. Grades in high school are not the most important factor in admissions and SAT's are not required.
